Emily is an occupational therapist who received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Davenport University. She also completed her undergraduate degree at Davenport and earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Case Management. 

 

She has clinical experience working with the pediatric population in outpatient and school settings. She has experience with a variety of pediatric diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, sensory processing disorders, emotional regulation difficulties, and developmental delays. She also has utilized a variety of interventions including Zones of Regulation, Interoception, and Handwriting Without Tears. Emily has always enjoyed working with the pediatric population, and is eager to further her learning through continuing education and her work at Paper Plane! 

 

She currently resides in Grand Rapids with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family (especially her nieces and nephews), drinking coffee, and exploring the outdoors.
