Speech Language Pathologist
Jill is a speech and language pathologist and the founder and owner of Pediatric Speech Services LLC . She received her Bachelors of Science degree from Calvin College and her Masters of Speech Language Pathology in 2008 from Miami University.
Jill has studied or been trained in DIR/Floortime, Buteyko breathing techniques, Social Thinking, PROMPT techniques, Lindamood-Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing, Lindamood-Bell Seeing Stars, Lindamood-Bell LIPS program, Kaufman technique, and orofacial myofunctional therapy. She has studied many methods for articulation, apraxia, autism spectrum disorders, stuttering, feeding aversions, cognition, expressive and receptive language, auditory processing, learning disabilities and dyslexia.
Her clinical experience includes private practice and outpatient and inpatient at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
Jill plans to continue her education and research in feeding therapy, trauma, and stuttering. She is registered with the American Speech and Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Michigan.
Jill currently resides in Forest Hills with her husband, Jay, and their 4 children, Piper, Henry, Avalon, and Walter.
