Jennifer is an occupational therapist. She received a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 and a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities in 2016.
Jennifer has clinical experience working with the pediatric population both the in school and outpatient settings. Jennifer has worked with a range of pediatric diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, sensory processing disorders, cognitive delays, developmental delays, fine and gross motor delays, and social/emotional regulation. She has experience with Handwriting Without Tears, Sensory Integration, and Zones of Regulation. Jennifer also has extensive experience working with young adults and developing pre-vocational and vocational skills.
Jennifer is passionate about working with the pediatric population and collaborating with families, schools, and other providers to help her clients succeed in all aspects of life. She is excited to continue her education in the areas of feeding therapy, neurodevelopmental treatment, and sensory processing. Jennifer is certified through the National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy and is licensed by the state of Michigan. She is also a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association.
Jennifer lives in Jenison with her husband, Adam, and their dog, Mayzie. When she is not at Paper Planes, you can usually find her spending time outside, cooking new recipes, crocheting, crafting, or completing a DIY home renovation project.
