Chelsey Langley

MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Chelsey Langley is an occupational therapist. She is the founder and owner of Paper Plane Therapies LLC which provides the occupational therapy services at our facility. She received her Bachelors of Science degree at Grand Valley State University in Allied Health Sciences and her Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2013 from Western Michigan University.  

 

Chelsey has background knowledge in neurodevelopment, sensory processing, and Greenspan's DIR/Floortime Method.  She has continued her education by attending courses that address the complex impact of trauma, reflex integration, autism spectrum disorders, cognition and proprioception, auditory and visual processing, and neurodevelopment.

 

Her clinical experience includes treatment in private practice, community settings, acute rehabilitation, and feeding clinics. Previously, Chelsey was a part-time instructor for the Department of Occupational Therapy at Western Michigan University where she taught the pediatric curriculum and supervised graduate students providing occupational therapy services at Mel Trotter Ministries.

 

Chelsey  plans to continue her education and research in trauma, neurodevelopmental treatment, manual therapies, and sensory processing treatment. She is registered by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy, and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association. She is licensed by the State of Michigan.

 

Chelsey enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and DIY and home renovation projects.  She currently resides in Middleville with her husband, Austin, their four young children and their dog.
